About ISF

Immigrant population is growing rapidly and can contribute to the economic development of a state provided they have access to affordable postsecondary education. We aim to create resources for creative thought and lifelong learning. Our first and foremost concern is to advance and defend the ideal of equal educational opportunities for all students, not only to enrich and improve their own lives, but to contribute back to the economy and welfare of their communities.

We are committed to increasing access and enhancing achievement in the field of university education, enabling students to think and act beyond boundaries and imposed limitations. All of this is now made possible thanks to the generous support of donors who recognize the essential role that accessible education plays in modern society.

Where is the money going?

As of October of 2009 the distribution of funds is as follows;

80% of all raised funds went to providing scholarships to immigrant students.
11% was spent on fundraising, advertising and publicity.
9% of the resources were used for administrative purposes, fees and taxes.

The distribution of funds changes as the amount of donations increase. Certain administrative costs and overhead expenses remain the same allowing us to dedicate more money towards new scholarships.
